Birthday 2023
I made this on my birthday last month, intended to post it on the day, though never did because I could never finalize it to a point where I think would be fitting to the type of content I was posting at the time, and frankly wanted to enjoy my birthday.
Part of the reason I even made this was to show a friend who also makes gay AI content how you would do this inside Stable Diffusion. The steps are fairly straight forward and depends on a category of control nets initially designed for QR code generation, but has been repurposed to generate images. It‘s simlar to the Line Art and Canny control nets, in the sense that it’s intended to turn vector drawings into bitmap images. The core difference is that the QR code control net operates on shapes and respects the tonal value (grayscale) of the image also, instead of interpreting everything as black and white.
I’ll try to do a tutorial when I have time, though if you simply install it, it’s very easy to see how it is done. There is also an abundance of tutorials online already. What I did want to show is how to use it in a gay context, and that’s what I did with this set of images.
