You might recognize one of these images for the Fight or Love video, because the original image was made on the same date. The rest posted today were made on the same date as well. I picked that image to make a video of because it captures my intention the best — that tension of fight vs love.
When I originally started the series, I had the men fight with weapons as they would in the arena. But after seeing the images, I thought that it would show their masculinity better if they fought with their bare hands. It‘s from these images that I then realized that they would look better if they simply wrestled.
Further iterations later, I realized that wrestling is simply too hard for AI engines. When the limbs collide so much, the diffusion technology simply failed to understand which body parts belong to which character.
