Sacred Geometry Series

Using historical geometric forms as a structural foundation for male figure compositions. Whereas Da Vinci explored ideal body proportions with Vitruvian Man, I use the geometric forms as a foundational grid to layout the composition of the figure. When imagined with the Canny control net inside Stable Diffusion, the joints of the figures correspond to the intersections of the geometric forms, thus creating a unique visual language and structure throughout the series.

The Sacred Geometry series went through several iterations before it took shape. It began as a single image of a mage transforming water into fire, a creation from my past in Midjourney that never blossomed into a series. I never posted it.

However, a friend encouraged me to share these individual images as Instagram stories, and they received a positive response. This inspired me to expand on the concept and create a full series of mages within Stable Diffusion.

To add an extra layer of excitement, I decided that these mages wouldn’t just cast magic, but would be battle mages. This idea stemmed from a recent conversation where I was asked about my preferred character class in RPG games. You guessed it, a battle mage!

And so, I embarked on creating a series of these battle mages. As I continued to work on them, they underwent three variations, each with additional embellishments, until they transformed into the mages you encountered with their unique symbols.

Conceptually, I envisioned these mages as a unique combination of both mage and warrior, resulting in their imposing and massive presence. To enhance their magical essence, I imagined these mages with enchanted tattoos that emit a radiant glow on their bodies. To bring the element of magic to life, I incorporated various particle effects such as magical dust, sparkling lights, and volumetric lighting.

Additionally, I adorned them with loin cloths, as they proved to be the optimal choice among Stable Diffusion’s vast array of clothing options. To accentuate their regal presence, I adorned them with flowing robes or capes that would elegantly sway in harmony with the gentle breeze.

These initial iterations solely comprised text prompts, although I did incorporate a Shuffle control net to influence the colors.
