An unexpected surprise from a follower — thank you!
Recently, I started a new Instagram account @GayDefiance as an extension to my main Instagram @GymDreams8, mainly for two purposes: showing some old works from my archive that I never posted because they don’t really meet the brand attributes I created for GymDreams8, or things that seem irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
At first, the things I posted were rather random, but I have recently started also using it to post extended collections from series that are important to me. I usually only post up to 10 highlights from any series on Instagram, but there are works that I think are worth showing more of. I don’t want to overwhelm my main Instagram with too many posts, so I decided to create a separate account for it.
For the past week, I have started posting works from the Mondrian Variations series, with each variation in its own set — so you can see the variations more clearly, and also to see the variations within each concept.
A follower — who prefers to remain anonymous — sent me this photo he took of himself with the series, to tell me how much he appreciates them. This was completely unexpected and really encouraging!
Thank you so much — you have made my day!
