This series of paintings are based on “The Fall of Man,” a painting about the story of Adam and Eve by the Venetian artist Titian, circa 1550, that’s currently in Museo del Prado in Madrid.
I changed the concept of the Adam and Eve into Adam and Steve, then applied Renaissance oil painting techniques to the render.
The results look nothing like the original, but what I’m after is mainly the concept of it — the passing of the apple, the figures, the tree, and the color.
In all of the paintings, I prompted for two men, though the engine insisted on inserting more than one — it’s kind of funny, but you may consider that third person as the serpent. (ha)
There will be three sets of these, which I grouped based on general composition, though with the exception of the first set, they are largely independent. But once you see the other two sets, you’ll understand why I have grouped them this way.
