1. An art movement originating circa 2022, characterized by the collective stance of a group of artists against the recognition of certain new mediums as legitimate forms of art. Proponents of the movement actively engaged in daily discourse to define and defend traditional artistic boundaries.
2. The phenomenon whereby this movement achieved significant attention from mainstream media, marking an unprecedented instance where such outlets, typically indifferent to art movements, reported extensively on the subject, elevating the discourse to front-page news.
