Selfie after the Gym
I haven’t posted anything from the Selfie series for a while, so here are a few images that I made a while ago. In truth, I hesitated from posting them because I wanted to reiterate that these are not my own selfies, but rather an observation of what selfies are like on Instagram. I think that the ones I posted in the past could be confusing as to what they were because I posted as single images. So here’s a collection of them in a single Instagram post.
Conceptually, I wanted to depict someone who has just gotten out of a workout at the gym, and thus has been sweating profusely. Looking a selfies from my friends, I know that this gives the body a nicer form that many men do prefer.
This will be the first of two — this first set uses a similar composition as I had before, which is with a guy holding his phone in the bathroom. The second set will feature someone looking at himself at the mirror, but without the phone in the view.
