Sacred Geometry Series

Using historical geometric forms as a structural foundation for male figure compositions. Whereas Da Vinci explored ideal body proportions with Vitruvian Man, I use the geometric forms as a foundational grid to layout the composition of the figure. When imagined with the Canny control net inside Stable Diffusion, the joints of the figures correspond to the intersections of the geometric forms, thus creating a unique visual language and structure throughout the series.

I've been working on expanding the Sacred Geometry series, where I've taken historical geometric forms as a foundation to create compositions of human figures overlaid on them. However, due to the complexity of the composition techniques used and the heavy stylization of the images, I feel like my original intention might not be clearly conveyed.

To address this, I’ve decided to take a step back and present a simplified set of images that focuses solely on the shape and form of the Seed of Life, combined with a human figure. By utilizing these fundamental elements, I aim to illustrate the essence of what I’m trying to achieve.

Conceptually, you can view this approach as similar to Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. While da Vinci primarily explored ideal body proportions, my focus here is to use the Seed of Life as a common form, acting as a foundational grid to lay out a composition of a male figure. This concept aligns with graphic design practices, where a consistent grid system serves as the basis for designing a variety of layouts. By employing this underlying structure, I aim to unify all the designs in the series.

I have intentionally chosen to depict the human figure with minimal clothing to clearly showcase the interaction between the figure and the grid. This way, it is evident that the body parts align with the joints and curves of the underlying geometry. Adding too much clothing would obscure this interaction and undermine the intended idea.

Like the previously shared sets, these images were created using a custom-drawn line art of the Seed of Life as the image source for two control nets: Canny and Line Art. If time permits, I plan to create a tutorial or video explaining this process in detail, as it is quite involved and challenging to convey through text alone.

These images are still considered work-in-progress renders, intended to convey the overall intention of the series. As such, I have made only basic tonal adjustments and have not applied any additional fixes to them.
