White lilies are special to me. I sent them to people I care about, on all occasions. I buy them for myself for special occasions, but also just to have them to brighten up my day. I like a huge bouquet of them as a signature piece. I also like a single bulb of them as on their own. I have been doing this for as long as I could remember, for over 20 years.

White lilies are special to me. I send them to those who mean a lot to me, whatever the occasion might be — be it a celebration or just a regular day. I buy them for myself, too. Not just for big moments, but because having them around just makes every day a little brighter.

Everyone has their own take on what these flowers mean. For me, it’s a reflection of beauty, purity, curiosity, joyfulness, and rebirth.

A big bundle of Stargazer lilies demands attention — you know they’re around by that smell in the air, and they make a serious centerpiece. But sometimes, a single Calla Lily is all I need. It’s got this understated elegance, kind of like an orchid, but in its own unique way.

I’m not picky about the type of lily, but the color’s got to be white. On the off chance the florist runs out of white, I might settle for a different color — but that exception is strictly for gifting to friend. If it’s for me? Nothing but white will do.
