Nike Air Max Plus Series
I wrote in the blog post for the Rugby diagram that I really enjoyed reading the dictionaries growing up, and I thought that why not just prompt for them directly instead of reference charts? The Nike Max Plus is perfect for this purpose. Sneaker brands love to highlight what made their sneakers special — i.e. that it‘s not just style, but with true performance technology built into the shoes. In some ways, the perfect marriage of art and technology. So that’s why I decided to make these.
In some earlier iterations, I tried the Da Vinci style before, but it didn’t look quite right. So midway through my rendering, I decided to change these to look more like a magazine layout. I think that this works a lot better overall.
