Rugby Hugs
While hugging is not a formal rule in rugby, it appears in various forms across different versions of the game and within its culture. From the bear hug tackle in traditional rugby to the safety-oriented adaptations for older players and the expressions of camaraderie off the field, hugging encapsulates the sport’s blend of physicality, safety, and community.
I decided to make more images about Rugby after being inspired by a few sports videos sent to me by friends.
These were made in Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge, a fork of Automatic1111 that’s intended to be highly memory efficient.
I used Virile Fusion v3 Beta 1 checkpoint to make these renders. This is one of my favorite checkpoints for this style of illustrations.
All of these were rendered at 20 + 30 hires Euler a.
In a Stable Diffusion workflow, where you first render with A steps, followed by B steps of hires fix, often:
A = 2B
After having developed my own workflow of multipass in ComfyUI, I realized that I really don’t need such high steps for the first pass, so I’ve been experimenting with steps where A < B, and so I’m testing with 20 + 30 and they look decent to me. This gives incredible results at a fraction of rendering time.
