On a quiet summer afternoon, a gay couple strolls along a beach, their steps steady and their love evident. As the younger man admires his older and more muscular partner, a sense of determination and strength emanates from their shared journey.
Like the paintings seen before this set, all of these are based on one very important painting that had special meaning to me. I have been trying to reimagine that painting in different ways for a while now, and here are some of the results. I have additionally included an additional variations that’s set in Ancient Greece, though I’m not sure that it’s quiet as successful as the others. I will continue to experiment different ways to add to that first painting I made with Midjourney.
Similar to the paintings in the previous set, these were made possible using two control nets:
Depth. For the pose of the figures that are 3d-aware.
SoftEdge. To create proper volume of the figures in conjunction with the Depth control net.
Both of these are set to low weights and early ending steps so that the figures have room to move around. If I had set all of them to the default 1.0 value then the figures will have the exact same pose, with the only color and styles be changed, and would make it difficult to apply different clothing items as seen in the second-to-last image, which has the men wearing gold armors with intricate ornaments.

Some of these paintings do require additional fixes, and I’m posting them mostly to illustrate what you can do with control nets, which is one of the most powerful features in Stable Diffusion.
