Unwinding Under the Roman Sun: Warriors at the Bath
Chillin’ in the Roman heat: Two warrior buddies kick back at the Roman baths, soaking up the sun and enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
I don’t usually render in photographic style, but I promised Scratchproof that I would give some feedback to Virile Reality 3 Beta 3, so i rendered some images in the Roman Baths series as photography.
This uses a multi-pass flow — going from a SD 1.5 model to another SD 1.5 model. The base layer is a 50-step ABM. VR3 is then used as the ADetailer and hires fix checkpoint, thereby having a photographic finish. I did some post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop to finalize the image.
VR3 is a very good checkpoint model — every piece of chest hair is clearly defined while you zoom into the image. I can’t wait to see the final version!
